Take It Back was about teens’ personal experience with the power of creative expression. What is the nature of power, its source, and the effect it has on the world? What happens when you place no trust in those deemed powerful by society? Do youth lose faith in the system, or does the system lose faith in the youth? Four local artists visited groups of teens in Santa Fe and Española to investigate these questions. Take It Back was the visual product of their exploration.
