Rick Moody is the author of three novels–Garden State, The Ice Storm, and Purple America–and two collections of stories–The Ring of Brightest Angels Around Heaven and Demonology. He is the co-editor of an anthology of essays, Joyful Noise: The New Testament Revisited. His short work has appeared in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Harper’s, Esquire, The Atlantic, and the Village Voice. His most recent book is a nonfiction genealogical narrative, The Black Veil. Rick Moody will give a reading and comment on some of his recent short fiction.
