Innovative Thinker Lecture Series: Accessibility, Equity, and Inclusion in the Museum

A Panel Discussion with Radiah Harper, Joanne Lefrak, Heidi Reitmaier, Dominic Willsdon and Jason Yoon

Radiah Harper is a senior level creative content strategist and leading museum educator with extensive experience building staff and developing successful community, school, public, art and art history, and diversity programs.  Most recently, Radiah served for 12 years at the Brooklyn Museum as Vice Director for Education and Program Development, and is now heading Radiah Harper Arts and Museum Management Consulting.



Joanne Lefrak is the Director of Education and Outreach at SITE Santa Fe. In addition to her work as a museum educator she is also a visual artist and teacher. She also serves as the chair of the City of Santa Fe Children and Youth Commission and was the recipient of the 2014 Mayor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts in Santa Fe, NM.



Heidi Reitmaier  is the Beatrice C. Mayer Director of Education at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. Formerly, she was Curator and Director of Education at the Vancouver Art Gallery, Curator of Adult Programs at Tate Gallery, and Director of Talks at ICA London.



Dominic Willsdon is a curator and educator. He is Leanne and George Roberts Curator of Education and Public Practice at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.



Jason Yoon is the Education Director at the Queens Museum. Prior to that, he served as Executive Director of New Urban Arts. Jason has an MPA in public and nonprofit management from NYU Wagner’s Graduate School of Public Service, where he was a Carl Long Dean’s Fellow, and earned a BFA in painting and art history from the Rhode Island School of Design.
