Using the field of his painting as an assignment to learn, Udomsak Krisanamis moves slowly toward a boundless pictorial dimension, severing all ties with the point of his depar-ture. His work is the explosion of meaning and signifiers, the erosion of traditional senses carried on by different tongues. Unpredictable in its extenua-tion, the painting reaches a status of condensed gravity. "Someone is watching us" is the ultimate message delivered by these canvases, and in saying so we are forced to lean outside ourselves to see what there is to see.
