New York City-based artist Roni Horn received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA from Yale University. She has had many solo exhibitions including, in 1999, exhibitions at Jablonka Galerie, Cologne, Germany; Matthew Marks Gallery, New York; Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, France; and CAPC Musée d’Art Contemporain, Bordeaux, France. In 1998, Roni Horn won an Alpert Award in the Arts, and throughout her career, has received three NEA Artists’s Fellowships.
Roni Horn’s work has been written about extensively in art magazines such as Artforum, Bomb, Flash Art and Art in America and in newspapers including The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post and Suddeutsche Zeitung among others. Ms. Horn has also had numerous exhibition catalogues and books written on her work.
