Inka Essenhigh’s large-scale oil paintings portray biomorphic figures and fantastic hybrid forms that simultaneously evoke the organic and the artificial. Essenhigh’s cartoonish and graceful lines allow these shapes and bodies to flow in and out of their environments, breaking the boundary between dream and reality.
