An animator, illustrator, painter, designer, and part-time musician, Gary Panter has always kept an eye out for a cataclysmic event. Panter’s distinctive “ratty line” ink drawings are recognizable to fans of RAW magazine. His recently completed graphic novel, Jimbo in Purgatory, is Panter’s reinterpretation of Dante’s Purgatorio.
