Carlos Quinto Capelán has exhibited widely in Europe and the Americas; his work was included in the important 1993 exhibition Ante América in San Francisco and New York. In 1995 he exhibited in Africus at the Johannesburg Biennale, Artesania de la Periferia at the Venice Biennale, and in Dialogues of Peace in Geneva. He was also included in the First Kwangju International Biennial in South Korea in 1994.
