Angelica Mozzillo was a Young Curator during the school-year of 2013-2014. She graduated last May from the Academy for Technology and the Classics. Here is her Reflection:
The Young Curators was a fantastic way to experience what work is like in a museum. I was interested in the program because, in the fall, I will be attending UNM for a degree in art history, and I thought this program would provide insight into what I could do with my degree. I not only gained experience working as a curator, but also in event planning, fundraising, marketing, and daily things that must occur for a museum to function. I am really glad I completed this program because I feel it is directly applicable to career goals I will have in the future.
