Matthias Schaller: Fratelli D’Italia

Featuring 150 color photographs of Italian opera houses taken between 2005 and 2017, this publication reveals one of Schaller’s most creative projects — how to read and appreciate Italy, considering Italian opera, music and architecture as a metaphor of the Bel Paese.
Schaller’s opera tour echoes the title of the Italian hymn “Fratelli d’Italia” and is a spectacular “Viaggo in Italia.” It creates awareness of the extraordinary number of opera houses across the country.
