Ric Lum’s Rio Feast Project – Update

On Saturday October 18 Unsettled Landscapes artist Ric Lum will prepare
lunch at SITE‘s picnic table for approximately twenty farmers from the Santa Fe
Farmers’ Market as part of his Rio Feast Project. The meal will be created from
ingredients procured at the Farmers’ Market that day. Lum is an artist, writer, and
chef whose interest lies in an integrative approach to art and life. His Rio Feast
Project consists of a series of community meals developed from food gathered
in the region around the Rio Grande. These meals are a part of developing
a network of connections and associations that form when people make a
commitment to engaging with regional foodways.
