Montano has created a new two-part performance work, entitled Singing My Heart Out…Singing my Heart In, which she performed at the opening of the exhibition and performs again at closing of the exhibition.  For this endurance performance, Montano is stationed in front of SITE singing along to the music of Linda Ronstadt and Raka Mukerjee, encouraging audience participation.  At the opening performance she ascended once an hour for seven hours until she has reached the top of the building. At the closing, she starts at the top and descends once an hour for seven hours until she reaches the ground.
