Enjoy 3D printed pancakes and get the scoop on 3D printing from Zane Fischer, CEO of Extraordinary Structures and coordinator at MAKE Santa Fe, a community makerspace which offers access to equipment and resources, including 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC milling and cutting and other advanced manufacturing tools and techniques. Artemy Kolchinsky, postdoctoral fellow at the Santa Fe Institute will discuss the  unusual thermodynamic properties that characterize living systems, no matter where in the universe they might be found.
